NBA 2K9 on PC!

For those who still haven’t heard the news. Yes, 2k Sports’ NBA game franchise is now on PC. After months of speculation and debates against “console purists”. NBA 2K9 was finally released last October 21. It was a great timing for 2k Sports to release their 2009 NBA offering (for the first time on the PC) since the previous king (EA Sports’ NBA Live) will not be released on the PC this year (and hopefully never). I was an NBA Live fan (since the NBA Live 94 on my Sega Megadrive/Genesis and played NBA Live on the PC from ‘97 till ‘08 versions), a friend told me to try NBA 2K (then released on Sega Dreamcast). I remained loyal to NBA Live, until every new release has been repetitive, few new features, poor game AI, poor quality of gameplay. But still they have been lording over the PC basketball scene because of the people who MOD the games to make it more playable (which is I am very much thankful). Having experienced both games on the PC, now I must say goodbye to NBA Live and bow to the new king NBA 2K. hehehe.
